Pokemon Corner Interviews

(The audience murmurs to themselves until a spotlight shines in the studio making the audience cheers as the interviewer appears and sits down. He raises his hand to silence them.)

Interviewer: Hello and welcome to Pokémon Corner Interviews! Today, we have a special treat for you all! We have a guest all the way from the Alola region! Give a hand for Aaliyah Green!

(The audience applauds as a young girl in a motorized wheelchair then parks it next to the desk.)

Interviewer: Thank you for joining us.

Aaliyah: Thanks.

Interviewer: I didn't know you had a wheelchair.

Aaliyah: Well, I had it since my "accident" with one of my Pokémon.

Interviewer: Your Pokémon caused it?

(Aaliyah chuckles a little bit then looks at the interviewer.)

Aaliyah: Yeah, but she didn't mean it.

Interviewer: What do you mean by "she"?

(Aaliyah lets the interviewer grab a scratched up Ultra Ball and then releases a huge pink and black Pokémon that looks like a teddy bear)

Aaliyah: This is my Pokémon and my bodyguard, Celeste.

Interviewer: Is this the Pokémon that....

Aaliyah: Yeah. She's the one who confined me into a wheelchair, but it's not her fault; I guess it's my fault. I should've taught her how to control herself a little better.

Interviewer: Then why do you keep it around with you if it caused your paralysis?

Aaliyah: I raised Celeste since she was still a Stufful. I couldn't give her away because I don't want her to be all alone.

(The interviewer gets up from his seat and looks at Celeste thinking that she wouldn't hurt him. Suddenly, Celeste opens her arms and squeezes him tightly)

Interviewer: *gasps for air* I....can't...breathe!

Aaliyah: Oh....Celeste! Please let go!

(Celeste looks at Aaliyah then lets him go)

Aaliyah: Sorry about that. Are you okay?

Interviewer: Y-yeah. So I guess that's why you're in the wheelchair?

Aaliyah: Pretty much. Anyway, do you have any other questions?

Interviewer: Oh, sorry. So what part of Alola do you reside in?

Aaliyah: I reside in Heahea Town. My parents live there too.

Interviewer: Really? Any type of clothing you prefer?

Aaliyah: (annoyed) Why, you think I can't dress myself?

Interviewer: (stutters) Uh, t-that's not....

(Aaliyah laughs a little bit)

Aaliyah: (cheerfully) I'm kidding. I prefer a tank top, nice shorts and sneakers.

Interviewer: So is there anything to do in Alola?

Aaliyah: *thinks* Hmmm.....I'd probably say there's Riding Pokémon or you could stay at the Tidal Wave Hotel. Maybe even catch a few waves.

Interviewer: Sounds like quite the vacation spot, huh?

Aaliyah: Yes.

Interviewer: So what is your favorite Pokémon?

Aaliyah: Hmm, I'd probably say....Rockruff. Mostly because it's so cuddly and cute. Their nape is pretty dangerous because there are rocks sticking out. I do find its Midday form a lot more cuter than the Midnight form.

Interviewer: Anyway, we're almost out of time so I have one final question, what type of Pokémon would you train?

Aaliyah: I'd probably train either Bug or Poison types.
